Victor B. Meyen
Victor B. Meyen is an attorney and a member of the California Bar (he was also a member of the New York Bar from 1973 to 2005 when he became inactive in New York). He received his B.A. (1968) and J.D. (1972) from Syracuse University and an LL.M (Taxation) from New York University School of Law (1973) where he was a graduate editor of the Tax Law Review and in addition an LL.M (Corporate law) from New York University School of Law in 1980. He practiced law for a number of years in New York City and was employee benefits counsel for American Home Products Corporation from 1977 to 1987 and then briefly spent a year practicing in Europe. Since 1990 he has practiced law in Los Angeles specializing in QDROs, family law, civil litigation and appeals. He has dealt with a wide variety of legal issues (both corporate and individual client) and has written a number of articles and books dealing with QDROs.
