Emily Reynolds Dale

 

 

 

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, nee Emily Leath Reynolds, attended public schools in that city and matriculated at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, majoring in Foreign Languages. Later studies were in Education and post-graduate Rogerian Psychology.
 
Career includes teaching English and Spanish in Florida public schools, Director of a job training program at a tri-county vocational college in St. Augustine, Florida; Director of project to create G.E.D. remediation/intervention training materials for use in the Florida school systems; property and casualty insurance agency manager; real estate agency manager and marine interior designer.
 
Married to James Thomas Dale, Inventor, PGA Photographer and Academy Award winner. Previously married to the late Ralph Lesley Thomas, Attorney and Municipal Judge.  Four children.
 
Life achievements include presidency of Azalea Garden Circle, Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity Alumnae Association and Junior Woman’s Club, all Gainesville, Florida; founder and first President Orange Park (FL) Community Theatre (now in its 37th year); member Florida Governor’s Advisory Council; member Orange Park, Florida Zoning Board; Chairperson Macon County (NC) Planning Board; President, Highlands-Cashiers (NC) Board of Realtors; Vocational Service Chairman and Club Service Chairman, Rancho Mirage (CA) Rotary Club. Currently retired.
 
Honoraria include “Realtor of the Year” Award, membership in “Blackfriars” honorary Drama organization, Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International.
