Barry Chamberlain - Board of Advisors

Barry Chamberlain was born in New Zealand and graduated there as a Civil Engineer in 1963.
He is currently a joint owner and Chairman of Duffill Watts & King Ltd, a broad based consulting engineering practice, which specializes in the design of engineering infrastructure and then in managing that infrastructure on behalf of the New Zealand Government, Local Authorities, and private utility companies. His company operates throughout New Zealand and through Asia from offices in Singapore, Jakarta, and Vietnam.
Mr. Chamberlain is also Chairman of a wholly owned specialist subsidiary company, Waste Technology Group Ltd. Formally owned by the New Zealand Government, this is a research, process development, and applications company that specializes in the treatment of very high strength Waste streams that have, until recently, been generally regarded as practically or economically intractable.
Waste Technology Group Ltd research has developed treatment processes for these difficult wastes that have reduced capital and operating costs below that of competing technology. The technology also maximizes the recovery of energy from waste and minimizes greenhouse gases. This group currently has "research" projects being carried out for the New Zealand Government and private clients. In addition, design and construction projects are currently underway in New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, Samoa, Thailand, China and India.
