Government Relations

Because of the unique advisory board of Uniworld, their global presence as individuals, their world wide influential contacts and a few with actual governmental contacts and experience in the international arena, Uniworld has been able to establish a beginning platform for its Government Relations Division. This division shall mostly be supportive to ICOBP and its members. After 5 years of research and development, Uniworld together with ICOBP has now implemented the following described program.

International Government Relations

ICOBP and Uniworld have developed and established relationships with many international government contacts over the past five years by twice hosting the annual conference of ambassadors and business attaches at which 105 countries were represented, as well as the annual conference of finance ministers in which 47 countries were represented.

The expressed desire behind government relations from association members and membership groups was to have more than just a business consultant explain what opportunities might exist in other countries. Participants and members wanted a platform that would provide real access to various government representatives. They wanted to personally meet representatives, be shown what opportunities exist, learn the different rules and regulations and be given a legitimate contact with whom they could follow up. Government representatives have stated they would contribute to an organization that would represent small to mid sized business owners and leaders. In this advancing world moving more toward a global economy, government relations will become essential for survival and continued growth for international expanding companies.

Ambassadors, trade authority and business attaches will be invited to our annual and regional conferences and given a free booth from which they can promote their country and simulate their economics via ICOBP’s members and support systems. In working with various governments, ICOBP will be providing them a platform and the opportunity to promote their country, its natural resources and its opportunities to an international audience.

ICOBP's members will be able to meet directly with these ambassadors, trade authority and business attaches to receive direct information and proper contacts to take their products and services internationally. This reduces the time and cost of such research while drastically reducing the risk of making false assumptions. This information will include tax laws, tariffs, rules and regulations.

ICOBP will be gathering information too create a future database for easy access, thus providing up-to-date information. This will be an ongoing process as ICOBP perpetually looks to add new countries and their government’s people of influence, in turn helping ICOBP to grow and strengthen.
