Creation of the Idea
The creation of the ITEC project has taken place over the past ten years through communication, observation and education with consumers, vendors, manufacturers, government leaders, world marketers, etc. from all portions of the globe. Project Location
The location selected for the first ITEC Campus is in Las Vegas Nevada, USA, and was selected for many reasons including:
- Over 40 million visitors per year from around the globe and growing.
- Largest convention attendance location in the world and enjoying tremendous growth through pre-contracting conventions, some as far out as 20 years in advance. The Convention Bureau advises us that from pre-bookings, convention facilities must more than double in size over the next 10 years to accommodate the conventioneers, along with the need for several thousands new hotel rooms to accommodate the attendees.
- Las Vegas has an International Air Terminal and customs facility serving both passenger and air cargo. This facility opened in April of 2000 at the newly expanded McCarran Airport. Unexpectedly, the Airport Authority found that the airport expansion was not large enough to accommodate the abundance of direct international flights and the demand for landing rights. Therefore, they took immediate action to develop a new International Airport and make Las Vegas an international destination. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Land Management has now dedicated 16,000 acres for the development of this International Airport named Ivanpah International Airport.
- The State of Nevada provides special tax advantages to entice businesses to locate within its state. For example, there is no state income tax.

The Amusement Park
